The working environment is amazing; everyone gets along with each other and willing to help each other when the need is there. A typical work day for me is coming in getting settled in and do all my morning updates on the various systems I work on, I then go for my morning coffee and get back to work until lunch time. After lunch I get back to work. My relationship with co-workers is believe is good, I have a good relationship with everyone that I work directly with and on occasion with. I have learnt a lot over the past 4 and a half years with this company, various skills and training. The thing I enjoy the most is the people I work with, which motivates me to work harder, the most challenging thing is to always come up with ideas to better process in order to increase productivity.

Career change

It was extremely hard trying to break into the fashion industry, with this I settled for administration, coordinating and assistant jobs which intern built a platform for what was to come. Since working in the Zando Studio it has allowed me the ability to explore the pretty yet pressure filled side to the working environment. It has also exposed me to so much more than just the fashion and creative side of e-commerce. My position in the Studio is a "Line manager" to the creatives, so it can become extremely stressful but rewarding at the end of our day. In my current position I have learnt there is no age to professionalism, it doesn't matter where you from and what age, or experience you are able to make a difference if given the opportunity. I enjoy working with creative and innovative people, meeting new models is one of the best parts of my job.

Cons: The Studio and Warehouse is separated form our head office

Amazing learning experiance

A typical day at work is rather busy, i would need to set up the daily mailers, do reporting, constantly check for any changes, and ensure that all mails have sent successfully. When it comes to PR, i need to make sure all of our influencers are happy and maintain the relationship with them and the relationship they have with Zando. Our office is open and i get along well with everyone, especially my CRM team. During this time, i have learned a lot about CRM, PR, and how to check something a million times to ensure we avoid any unnecessary issues, which can cost the business money. I have a massive passion for digital marketing as it is fast moving and changes can be implemented quickly. The most challenging part of the job is when a brief is changed 30 mins before a mailer needs to go out, and you need to ensure you get it done by the time mailers need to be sent out, as you can miss out on the money making window.

Pros: We had flexi hours, and could work from home if need be
Cons: Black Friday was incredibly stressful

Good learning curve

Everyday is a busy day, fast paced environment with a lot of manual queries that is sent to assist customers. Great team player, co-workers become like family. Attention to detail, always ensure that the customer is happy with the service provided even if it is bad news. Always go the extra mile no matter what. I'd always enjoy when a customer is happy with the feedback provided, that they get their delivery on time and when I follow up to confirm that they've got their order. The manual processes that need to be done is the hardest because you don't always get a response, you have to follow up almost everyday and then still not receive any feedback but no matter what, I will never leave the customer worried about their order.

I learned a lot within the industry ,

For the years I have been here I have not seen any growth within positions I do the same work every day there is no challenge I can do so much more but management doesn't allow me they use my abilities and skill set when they are in a pickle Given the right positions, I will excel and prove that this is why I am here. I believe in allowing people to grow and learn while they are growing.

Learnt a lot, variety of opportunities

I learnt how to work with Excel, jogging down information for the buyers. What I enjoyed the most is the labelling of the stock. The most challenging about the job is the different people personalities. But I got along well with all my colleagues and bosses.

Good computer skills using percel perfect system.

Working at zando it was a very good experience for me. I enjoyed every moment i spended there. My supervisor was a very friendly and motivating stuff to work hard. Mostly what I have enjoyed is when we come new ideas then the winner get reward. And corwokers also were very supportive if I needed help in any thing related to work.

Pros: I was sometime s given an opportunity to supervise stuff
Cons: Working normal hours

Extremely good leadership and good work ethics

Don't love it but enjoying working with experienced personnel who can guide me and teach me new things.all is hard working ambitious which inspire me to do better they inspirational.

Great learning

Very reasonable company to work for bt the sal. Management is transparent but the culture just does not allow for too responsibility and accountabilityary is not in line with the market today
