Typical work day at the office

A typical day would start by me checking the mails and sort out all the jobs for the day. There after i would have a short day plan meeting with everyone to understand more of the work completed the previous day. I will then do a curtesy call to a few clients to know how they are doing and if there is something we can help with. After that I would then do site visits and meetings for part of the day. After returing to the office I will handle all quotations an proof quotations done by my other managers. The business rely 95% on subcontractors that mean that we run 4-5 sites at a time. I enjoy the fast track pace I have to work at and also problem solving. Managing the project and work to be completed at a specific time have its moments. I useally jump in and help to make sure our clients are happy.

Pros: Different and interesting projects incl people. Like the travel.
Cons: Not a lot of family time always, due to the hours.
