Interacting with different types of customers

A typical day at work would be standing 4 hours straight in a store promoting a product (e.g. perfume). Promotion work is fun because I get to meet and learn how to handle different customers, I also build good relationships with the staff members of a store even though I possibly won't see them again. I've learned more about sales and certain products doing promotion work. I enjoy being a promoter, speaking to customers and dressing up in different uniforms or outfits for work, depending on the product being promoted. The most challenging aspects in this field of work for me has to be finding the energy to stand on one spot for 4 hours and not look like I'm tired or like my legs hurt and to promote and try and sell something that's not in demand.

Outstanding learning experience

Good day XP Squared is a marvellous company. The environment is juat a breath of fresh air. My colleagues and the companies employees are all hard workers and driven. The only difficulty with promotions is the fact that pay was never constant depending on how many activations you received. I was also studying full time and working part time. However, I'm looking for something much more stable with financial compensation and Uplifting to my calibre. A career not a Job.

Excellent learning curve for me.

It's great. I interact with a lot of people. Different personalities. Taught me patience and tolerant. The co-workers are amazing people. So friendly and welcoming. The working environment is warm. Supervisors and upper management are considerate and respectful.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain experience about interacting with people.
Cons: The pay is small per hour

Excellent learning

That was a great job and it was so good meeting new people at a work place with good ideas and av learned a lot from them and from the people we meet during working hours, and I enjoyed a lot because we were going from 1 place to another and the most challenging part is convincing customer's to purchase the product that u have on the stall it is so difficult but at some time u have to wat u have to do! Making the customer to purchase the product

Pros: making your communication skills to improve day by day
Cons: 5to 6 hour's a day for 4days in a week

Best door into work environment

I have never been limited as the team is quite small on the organisation is small and duties are not limited to one job title. I have learnt skills that can be used to run an entire business as the company execs always provide equal opportunities to all employees. Small teams are always beneficial as there's a sense of belonging like a family and not just staff relations. All in all, a great working environment.

Excellent learning curve for me

The pay is less than what is expected of us to do as part of the job. I am working on weekends only. 2 weekends per month.. I work 4hours per day. And I earn R50 per hour that I work. Traveling from different places. From one shoppinh centre and mall to another.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain experience about interacting with people.
Cons: The pay is small per hour

Enhanced my communication skills

It was a fun and interesting environment to be around. Employers are govern by professionalism and ethics. I got a chance to interact with different people and improved my communication skills.

Pros: It is not commission based
Cons: Less pay rate
