Learnt a lot in this current position

In the past 5 years this has come to feel like family, every day is a new day with different challenges to deal with. Working here has taught me about different cultural backgrounds and how to deal with people differently as we are not the same and do not understand things the same way. Having the 3 Directors on site everyday has also taught me how to deal with senior management.

Cons: Being too good at your job means no promotion

Excellent learning curve

I have 5years experience of working as a receptionist for my current employer. My duties include answering of all incoming from a switchboard, greeting visitors in a polite, friendly and helpful manner. Boardroom’s booking, ordering groceries and stationery for all our office, bidding documents and making copies for all tender files. Typing and filling, Enrolling staff on the finger prints system, reporting of faulty equipment in the office, Petty cash, liaising with the courier company. Updating of the mailing and extension list.

Cons: Got used to everything I do here, I need a new challenge

Travel is the best

A typical work day in our office is very stressful. Corporate work is very demanding and you work with a lot of different types of clients. My relationship with co works is very good we get along very well. Have learned to have patience and always give the best. Enjoy my work to the fullest. The most challenging aspect of my work is there is no growth potential and no bonus structure in place no benefits to the consultant in a corporate world. It is difficult to stay motivated in these hard times when there is little or nothing to motivate the consultants to give 150%
