A typical day at my current position is dealing eith transport preventative maintenance hands on. I have a workforce of 25 workshop staff that attends to periodic preventative maintenance, as well as refurbishment of trailers, truck tractors and the odd project where we repair or construct farming equipment and equipment as well as enclosures and other miscellaneous equipment. to C. V

Great opportunity to learn about the industry

I got to know the transport industry vert well and enjoy it thoroughly. I discovered my passion for logistics. I got intrigued by how it works and the day to day management of things.

Exploring my skills

We have good working hours we dont work on weekends exciting and kind people the most challenging aspect would be account reconciliation having to wait for paper work from other departments in order for you to start your work day

Xinergistix

Working at Xinergistix is nice but tough 12 to 13 hours work day,I learnt a lot of Project management and the importance of deadlines ,attention to detail on jobs done to work as a team to complete the job fast and neat,I also gained Experience in dealing with on the road breakdowns and dealing with the necessary people to finish the job and get the truck on the road again. i Have a small team of 4 Fitters and one Supervisor in Cape town , 4 Fitters in Johannesburg and 1 fitter in Port Elizabeth that helps me to maintain the Xinergistix group Fleet and keep it up to the Company's standards,Me and my co-workers get along very well we are a friendly group of people working together in the workshop that helps each other to stay on top of the running problems.

Pros: none
Cons: Long working hours and no opportunity for growth.
