Unstable

- I built my department from the ground up - I have on several occasions presented proposals to EXCO to take the video dept even further by making it a separate billing entity, which allows for work from a broader range of clients. - My work has won and been nominated for several awards - I've learned how to manage and grow a department - I've learned that I enjoy teaching, and nurturing young talent - I thoroughly enjoy creating amazing work within tight budgets and deadlines - I've learned to deal with constant change - Things ate the company have been extremely unstable since about the 2nd year I was here - I have developed a resilience, and capacity for handling instability strategically

Pros: Opportunity to take ownership of projects, opportunity to work on award winning campaigns, opportunity and confidence to build department
Cons: Abusive upper management, value based on working over time, not successfully and efficiently meeting deadlines, unreasonable expectations, long hours, ideas not being taken seriously, extreme uncertainty as things are constantly changing (not necessarily for the better)

Amazing learning curve in a short space of time.

My experience has been in traditional media as well as digital media, I have a two-year background doing marketing and activation across all province in South Africa. Currently working as an analyst for Wunderman Thompson for the Coca-Cola Account ECAF, I have over five years’ experience proven social media experience as an Analyst for paid and earned media. I am a team player with the ability to excel in any environment, ability to use all social media platforms and to provide insights.

Pros: you work with different brands this encourage one to think out of the box.
Cons: client is on a different time zone.
