Learning Expiriances

At World Vision we work with children. Working with children it can be fun but challenging at the same time. It has grown me as a person and my character because it has brought me out from my comfort of sitting in the office doing paper work. At the field I encounter challenges that needs to be sorted out on the spot, my decision making skill has grown tremendously.

Pros: Working with people all over the world
Cons: Always working

Good Learning opportunity

A day goes by without time noticing because I love what I do and mostly but not limited to VIP (Sage Premier) payroll, recruitment, supporting, HRIS and developing talent through developing policies and managing procedures are part of my duties in World Vision South Africa. I have an excellent working relationship with co-workers and supervisor. Most challenging is keeping up with the retrenchments and contract ends emotions these two aspects brings of huge employee numbers in very short period of time. Providing excellent assistance and support to employees and managers is what I enjoy most

Pros: Organized and efficient in daily tasks. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Goal-oriented, organized team player.
Cons: Huge workload. Bored due to repetitive tasks.
