Excellent perks like the sample shop, buying of waste but not really bonuses.
I was so overwhelmed when i heard that i was getting the opportunity to work for woolworths. But what i didn't know was that it wasn't in Head Office it was in stores. You're not really told about the actual position until you get to speak to other individuals that actually work at the woolworths stores and hear their stories. Its not as bright and full of sunshine and roses as you may think. Definitely not the employer of choice, you work way too much, not only do you do your job but other roles in the store aswel and you're so not paid for it. you are over utilized and under paid for sure.
Pros: Days off in the week because of working on a roster
Cons: Long Hours, working overtime and weekends, don't get paid for the holidays you work on, communication about interviews done at Head Office takes way too long and is so unprofessional

A learning curve
Retail industry its very challenging and fun to work in. I'm enjoying my job and have passion for it. Working enviroment very conducive and a culture of working as a team, its what keep me going. I'm applying to a different company to learn more about Operations as its my passion. I need to get more experience in different organisation and broaden my skills.
Pros: policy driven
Cons: Retail hours
