Good taking care company for employees

We go for trainings of different learnings of work related matters and life in general, company that contain various of third parties we all treated the same ,all Woolworths employees always get increase annually and the company also participate in helping the poor like charities by providing food and clothes for free,we as staff always benefit on staff purchase discounts,customers are talking good about Woolwoths because it's staff get the best trainings in terms of delighting customers.

Great learning Curve

Under woolworths i have been able to learn and develop my business management potential in so many aspects of the business via their development programmes and mentorship, it is a great plesure to work for woolies i have also developed and grown individuals under me, i enjoyed the most the values and the ethics within the company. My relationship with all my colleagues is professional, we work interdependently towards goals.

Amazing knowledge gained

Modernization,revamps of all existing Woolworths stores across the country. Projecst that are made up of actual software upgrades,Dell server host replacements,re cabling of stores,relocation of IT equipment,work with woolworths real estate team ,scrutinizing store plans ,adding ides ,scheduling vendors to be on site ,night work,day work, project meetings daily,procurement of material,l

Pros: Great understanding of IT growth and always learning new skills daily

Service Collaboration

We are a family. Everyone greets everyone it doesn't matter if you dont work in the same department. Always involved with charity work, inside the workplace and outside the workplace. There are a lot of rules that we need to live by but those rules make the company a better and safer work place. Every day there are meetings we need to attend. Every year we get a bonus and twice a year increases. There are also incentives. I enjoyed working with the person/ customers. Even if you get complaints you lear how to delt with it.

Excellent learning environment.Alot of space to grow .Great company to work for

A typical work day :working with internal as well as external customers always pleasant.I am a people's person therefore I like working with people from different backgrounds and cultures and Woolworths allows you to do so.My experience in a nut shell:Gained more knowledge on how to treat both internal and external customers as well as the people in your life.Aquired skills such as:management,communication skills and leadership skills.I enjoyed working with customers learning about their needs and wants as well as dealing with people from different backgrounds and aquiring these new skills.The challenges were:The travelling to work .
