To whom it may concern, I am very familiar with the work of Woolworths, since I am currently employed at Woolworths as a Planner Assistant in the Wine and Beverages department. I am a hardworking and quick learner who is able to communicate with different people from various cultures. I have the ability to work on my own and maintain a good sense of responsibility when it comes to meeting my deadlines; and I am an excellent team player and I know how to work in a team. I am willing to learn and all that I need is an opportunity to prove myself as a hard and dedicated worker. I believe that my strong educational background and work experience can make me an asset as a suitable candidate. I have the skills and qualifications to benefit your organization. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm.

Fast paced environment
A typical day would consist of a lot of ad hoc meetings and ad hoc exercises with very pressing deadlines. This is a fast-paced environment which is very deadline and performance driven. The company culture among colleagues is nice, but also be a ware of ‘every man for himself’ culture that tends to live in ladies wear – I would say this is the most challenging part the day to day. Light banter is ever present in our team, which makes life a lot more fun. The company has great training programs and really grow people’s hard and soft skills where possible. There is also opportunity to move to different parts of the company to gain experience, do attachments with different stakeholders and have your voice heard with new ideas of implementation. Company benefits are incredible – the best in the industry. This should be considered when discussing salaries.

Overview
its certainly a very challenging environment, the division is decentralised and this is not in line with my interview process. Decided to preserver however I would prefer to return to my home city - Gauteng. I have built and established good working relationship at Snr management and Exco. I would prefer to return to Gauteng for personal reasons.

Working for Woolworth was amazing. The values and culture i to assist, to succeed, to grow together as a Team. My relationship with my Team is inspiring, we are one, we work together to achieve a common goal, to achieve KPI's and monthly range plan. We always on the same page, regardless of our individual responsibilities we assist and support one another in all aspects, to always be on the same page, weekly meetings ensure that all tasks are complete, that Criticalpath is met for each and every product, that suppliers are 100% briefed and expectations are met. I enjoyed working with every part of the business, learning daily from Co workers and teaching aswell. Reviewing processes to ensure we as a team is working in the most efficient and effective way to achieve daily tasks aswell as quarterly strategies

since Woolworth is retail company i work the most wit different number of employees in different stores with different personalities so it is not that easy to work with but i do my best to work with them, and it is not that we will always see things the same way there are problems that i experience from them and also the do experience some problems from me but we work around the problem and come up with a solution.
