I am currently employed at Woolworths Distribution Centre as an Inventory Manager. I am a motivated person and always willing to go the extra mile. I am 11 years with Woolworths of which 7 years in a Management role. I have a 3 Year National Diploma in Freight Handling Logistics and amongst my various achievements i obtained an Individual and Team Difference Awards. I am looking to grow and share the knowledge i have obtained, but in the same time learn new things. Some of my key KPI`s that im currently responsible for, is staff management, IR, Budgets with in my department, Consumables and am directly responsible for Audits with in my area. I Manage OHASA ensuring it is adhered to and maintained in the operation. I work in an extremely fast past environment, and have to think on my feet.

Pros: Great benifits. Culture is fantastic and makes me proud to say i work at Woolwrths. The values are clear and it`s values we live by.
Cons: Growth is a bit slow. I would like to get out of shift work.

Excellent developing company to the people with aspirations.

I am working in a very diverse company where we have got a lot of cultures which has given me an advantage of learning about different cultures and also the business has a balanced employment equity. I have got good relationship with my co-workers as we have got company values which guide us how we should behave in a business work place. I have learnt a lot about how warehousing operate and how is it important the customer is and how best I can make them happy in a daily basis. I enjoy interacting with people in a work which gives me an opportunity to learn from the best and do more out of my learning.

Pros: There is a good opportunity for everyone with potantial to willing to grow within the business as i started as a staff member and today i am a manager managing the department which is playing a big role on custormer satisfaction.
Cons: As I ma a first line manager it takes many years to progress to the next level as we have only three Operations managers within the business and i am a kind of a person who want more challanges to learn more.

Im a excellent team player as well as an individual worker.

I'm always excited to come to my work place everyday is a new challenge for me. I'm an excellent person to work with people like me especially my personality. Ive learnt so many things for this 7 years Ive been with woolworths, as well as meeting ,communicating with people from outside like inspectors from head office. What I like doing is to do investigations like stock thats missing in the warehouse or pallets thats missing,I also like to do incidents via head office i always deliver a good service to our internal and external custmoners.
