Great Foundational learning

my typical work day begins with dealing with any emails that have come in overnight and attending to the necessary.. Thereafter, I will attend to the files which are pulled out in the daily diary and do any work required in each of those files. Thereafter, I attend to any drafting and/or billing which is outstanding. My relationship with co-workers is polite, however, I am not overfamiliar with anyone in the office. I have learnt how to manage office relationships as well as how to time-manage my work effectively whilst under the employ of my current employer. I mostly enjoy the law itself and researching new areas of law I am not inherently familiar with to broaden my understanding on a topic. The most challenging aspect has been trying to achieve a good work/home balance, but I believe that after 10 years of practice I am getting better at that.

Pros: great for foundational learning
Cons: career plateaus here after reaching senior associate level
