People are not honest they treat you unfairly due to status in terms of financial gain. I love the work i do and my job but i do not like the culture of the people i work with.

It's a legit veld and forest fire fighting program

It's a legit veld and forest fire fighting program. However, it's a three years contract. When there are no fires we usually maintain the base and the we assemble at the parade to prepare for the day. And then it is time for physical training . furthermore, after lunch we just relax and anticipate fire calls. The job requires teamwork ,therefore a relationship amongs the employes is healthy and genuine because we care care for everyone's safety when we are fighting the fire.

Pros: Work experience
Cons: Always on standby during the fire season
