Excellent learning curve.

Typical work day starts with all the foreman. I interact with them and find out their daily tasks as well as Plan what they are going to need for the week.I alot of my time in the office. Placing orders for materials, tools, consumables, steel, concrete, mechanicals of the drawings, etc. subcontractor certificates, monthly measurements of production on site and compile the monthly interim certificates and measurement file used for all items claimed in the certificate. Compilation of progress reports. Have a good relationship with every colleague. I believe that communication is a key factor in the work environment. I've learnt that you always have to be honest and take pride in your work. I enjoy observing how activities are being done on site by experienced people. The most challenging aspects are the different types of people you encounter. WK Construction SA has thought me alot and I am greatful for everything that they have provided me with for the passed 3 years and treat their employees as family.

Pros: Good culture in the workplace. Good exposure to a construction site.
Cons: Long working hours, no oppertunity for promotion.

Excellent learning opportunity

I enjoy working in the Quality field as i am a person that pays attention to detail and getting things done the first time. I chose this field because i am passionate about Quality.

Pros: Study opportunity which will enable me to grow my knowledge which will intern grow the company
