I have a wonderful relationship with my co-workers we uderstand each other, the enviroment is constantly buy as we are a contractor on site which also means it is very nerve wrecking as they look at everything we do with regards to the SLA we signed with ABI, now known as Coca cola beverages SA (CCBSA). I Have not learnt much as the work here is basic , that is why i am looking to vencher myself else where that i can learn something , basically with regards to admin nothing changes . what i enjoy most about the job is that nobody sits on my neck to get things done , yet i still do them and also everybody helsp where they can . The most challenging aspects of the job is that when my manager is not present i then have to step in and "fill his shoes" but i enjoy it that as well , because i've learnt how to work with people how to deligate when work gets too much and how to assist and advise where i can.

Loving my work and never stop learning.

life at work is very tense and from time to time extremely busy, long hours , weekends, public holidays ex. i was for the first year and a half the only electrician to cover a fleet that 10x mechanics also covers. doing all the electrical and hydraulic repairs and maintenance. relation ship between co worker can be tense (mechanics and electrician), but it always works out in the end(getting the job done). I've learned a few new types of tail lift and the operation of it, even to overhaul the cylinders our self. i enjoy the challenge of the modification on some types of tail lift wiring and add new ways and better performance and less breakdowns. what is not a challenge, the biggest challenge is the time and resources available (do what you can with as little as possible to solve it). i mist my daughter final year at school completely, dew to the extensive hours.

Pros: their is potential higher positions available, but will they let me go from what i'm doing now.
Cons: long hours and short holidays(selective), either making me stronger or weaker to preform my best.
