Learning curve

•Plan and conduct scheduled TB / HIV campaigns as well as advocacy communication and social mobilizations campaigns with relevant stakeholders. •Provide technical support on screening and data handling to health screening teams. •Oversee and monitor completion of TB/HIV and STI’s screening tools and other clinical stationeries. •Establish systems to monitor treatment initiation and referrals and provide weekly and monthly reports on this. •Supervise data handling and collate statistics into weekly and monthly reports to the site coordinator. •Oversee planning of defaulter and contact tracing schedules •Proper recordkeeping of stock received and distribution. •Supervise screening teams and Drivers

Pros: No promotions unless someone loves you personally, it’s not about your job
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve

the relationship with co workers is very good and i am always looking forward to go to work, i am doung voluntaryand no remuneration of packages offers i have to pop from my own pocket to gwet to work. i have learned to do reporting, capturing on different health systems and how to take care of people with different diseases

Pros: great learning opportunity
Cons: no opportunities at all, no growth and they dont hire their own volunteeers

Excellent learning curve

Well I have been a volunteer for this company and what pushes me to further volunteer here is the fact that I am being exposed to different challenges and I learn a lot. I can now be rest assured that I can go anywhere and master.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning and been empowered
Cons: I sometimes feel like that our management doesn't recognize the potential possessed my fellow volunteers and I as a result we all seek for green pastures
