Getting good exposure
On a daily basis I check,validate then invoice as well as prepare statements for payments .The processing invoice part is becoming too rotational for me therefore I should admit that am eager for a much challenging task like dealing with big payments.I enjoy working with my colleagues ,they keep me going and motivate me .I love the work environment its just peaceful and appropriate.I did not think I would ever enjoy working in finance but it has turned out to be the career I want to go further in.I have learnt not only to be an administrator but also a controller.I have learnt to work as a team and always build trust with my clients.

Day to Day
I start my day by doing data uploads, which fixes errors on the invoices, enabling finance staff to work. I work hand in hand with 3 people, my line manager and colleague, we ensure that data in the company is cleansed and balances when we do reports, or travel consultants make bookings for our clients, I make sure that they able to book flights, car hire, as well as extras. I create the user on AGM and as well as Amadeus. The past couple of years that I have worked for wings, I have learnt to build reports, build fees, the importance of data integrity, and work well under pressure. I enjoy cleansing data and creating reports from a data dump and using pivots and formulas to create the reports. The most challenging is reporting and fees, as it is crucial, not to make nay mistakes.
Pros: I work well under pressure, and can handle the work load. I learn fast as well.
Cons: I don't like working over time and cant work with lazy people

There's to much pressure and high volume of calls
i do validation, invoicing, printing open items do allocations and send POPs to the suppliers. My relationship with co-workers is very good even with the consultants and team leaders from other departments. I've learnt working under pressure and work as an individual and with difficult suppliers. the most challenging aspect is when i have to take calls of angry supplier because they were not paid on time or every body is asking help from me i end up not being able o focus on my job.
Pros: not here maybe some where

Great opportunity for exposure
Throughout my career I have gained vast financial, technical and project management skills within finance. My scope and knowledge allowed me to participate in finance, operational and commercial spaces of the business. I have a hands –on- approach with every aspect of work, to allow me to become knowledgeable and understand the “know-how” of an existing or new process being implemented. Whilst in these different roles I was always challenged to find new and innovative ways in order to make the team more efficient and sustainable. My objectives are to further grow my knowledge and exposure within different industries or environments and allow me to become an asset to a business which would allow me the opportunity. I have further embarked on registering with CIMA, in order to have a sound global financial knowledge of operating business in different spheres of the world. Well established international Travel Management company
Working at Wings Travel has been an amazing experience and has equipped me with almost every skill needed in any workplace. Communication is always key in the Travel Industry and this company has equipped their staff well in this skill as well as many other adjustable skills. Good location, young, Vibrant and diverse environment. Lots of international exposure. Sadly the company is facing tough times due to Covid 19

Hard working and good team player
I upload data in order for Finance staff to work, Quality check, cleanse data and data capture all the data on the system, update company policies, supplier profiles and passenger profiles. Pull reports and create reports. Update fees and create new fee models for the business. I have a great relationship with all the people I work with, as well as those I don't work hand in hand with. I have learnt a lot about the reporting tool and building new reports. I enjoy dong reporting and building fees. The most challenging aspect of my job is fees and reporting as this works with the figures of the business, and there is no room for errors in it.

Excellent learning opportunity
Typical work starts from 8h30 untill 17h00. Worked for a travel agency,, payroll is based withing the HR team which consists of 5 team members. Had a great relationship with the team, worked very well together and the team spirit was very motivational and supportive.
