Excellent learning curve

Working in the medical field is the new experience that required lot of accuracy. Efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace is essential and time management, everything we do is followed by lot of responsibility and that is my learning curve.

Excellent learning curve

Being a reception at Winelands Radiology gave me experience on accuracy and time management. To be polite and always professional around patients/clients to speak very clear and in an easy and understandable language. Speak both english and Afrikaans worked on my favour and I was able to help patient on time.

Excellent learning curve

I love working with patients and interacting with people in general. I am currently also working as a Mammographer in the company and I value and love my work very much. I am very hard working and goal driven and always up for a good challenge. A typical day at the office starts at 7:45 if you work a straight 8-5 shift. We have various rolls/areas within our department and we are rostered within a roll weekly. I was one of the medical receptionist within my current company for 3years before I got the opportunity to go study Radiography.

Pros: Opportunities to do further studies within my company, Location is close to home. Work very closely with our Drs.
Cons: Short staffed so long hours and night shifts. No benefits.
