Phenomenal foundation built with company and growth levels reached

It has been an honour to work for the W&RSETA particularly witnessing lives changed through skills development. My various positions have allowed to interact with professionals in different levels; from CEOs, directors to staff on the shop level. I love interacting with people and creating opportunities to celebrate people's achievements. Most rewarding has been contributing towards positioning Wholesale and Retail as a career of choice. I have an opportunity to work with all employees within the Organisation through various projects which has been both rewarding and challenging. Working with a very small team allowed me to be involved in all projects and play an active role in both planning and implementing. But, it has been challenging in terms of resources as we have to stretch ourselves extremely. My tenure has developed me personally and professionally, and has prepared me for new challenges and opportunities

Excellent learning curve

It is a good working environment where you are exposed with an open work plan where it is much easier to get help from your colleague when you need it.And the open work plan also helps to build good working relationship. What's really challenging it's attending to stakeholders queries in cases where they are angry.for example claims are due for payment. I have learnt to prepare sundry receivable recon and trade creditors recon and i have also learned how to raise a journal on accruals using Dynamic Ax system. I have learnt to capture invoices in the Ax system. I enjoy cleaning the vendor ageing which helps me reduce my monthly closing balance for trade creditors recon. I really enjoyed working as a team where we were reconstructing the commitment register which gave wrseta a clean audit in financial year 16-17

Excellent learning curve

- a typical work day is a very busy day were we push to meet the quarterly APP targets. - relationship with the co-worker is a very friendly a work related friendships where work is related. -how to work under pressure but provide quality of work -liason with the stakeholders -managing projects

Excellent learning curve

Company was a learning curve not much opportunity to grow. They don't train their employees. But they are a training authority company and the work to be done. We had to teach ourselves by asking each other and leaning from there.
