It has been a great learning curve.

worked as an accountant, relationships building internal and externally. great team and be able to think outside the box. helping in cleaning up the debtors, assist other departments like operations team and sales. Doing analysis of expenses. creditors and bank recons.

Well i believe there is more to explore and more knowledge to gain

To be honest this is the best company i ever worked for nowhere i have found that you can get 2 times a year bonus salary increases 2-3 more than other companies and then you get separate increase for being a hard worker. We live by a rule at work: Rule 39 - It means your day is subject to change. Suddenly things will go wrong the couriers didn't deliver and its -20C items than i have to push them or make instant decisions to bring the parcel back because its mostly high value items. I work at a scientific company and i always thought scientist are weird people but they not. They dont use a language or words that you need to google. So i have learnt everything is possible if you put your mind to it. I came from a quality manager from clothing to a Facilitator& Procurement clerk in the building industry and from there to research company. I like it when we have a challenge and we just step up and work as a team doesnt matter if you are a manager or cleaner we get the job done.

Pros: because we are a small company growth is minimal.
Cons: when all the suppliers comes at the same time or come at clock off and your team mates are gone

I have grown professionally and individually

My job entails alot of interactions with product managers, sales representative and directly with customers. Am involved in products trainings and instrument installations. I have learnt the strength of listening more and talking less. The impact of being reliable and trustworthy. My job entails keeping up with technology trends and helping others, I enjoy seeing direct impact of my actions. The most challenging part is striking a balance between work and my life, due to the nature of my job, reading alot 24-7

Pros: Independence as you work from out of office often at home or traveling.
Cons: The juice you get is not worth the squeeze
