Excellent learning curve,lots of skills gained.

A typical workday began with receiving of eft payment requests/audit trails from head office (that was sent the previous afternoon) to check that all details are correct. It was taken to the financial manager for signing and sent back to HO for confirmation of payment. Thereafter I began with new payment requests for refunds/COD payments,etc. All documentation was checked before submitting it to be signed off and sent to HO again to load for payment. Then was time to start with creditor recons,checking if all invoices had been captured or if there were any queries and resolving it with suppliers. My co-workers and I worked together as a team and because of them I could submit all requests timeously. Teamwork is key. I enjoy working in an office environment and being organized,paying attention to detail. I have gained a lot of knowledge and I'm ready to face a new challenge.

Pros: Much experience gained.
Cons: No opportunity for promotion within the company.

Good experience

I am working as a Cashier taking payment for car deposits,car service payment and parts payment, at the end of the day i cash-up all the transaction of the day . we work as a team . i have learned that to take my job serious more especially when you are working with money and to be a reliable person. Enjoy assisting in other department to learn more and get open opportunities. Working with negative people who doesn't take advice from other people.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: Everyday overtimes
