I am a marketing communications specialist with over 4 years of work experience.

I am a marketing communications specialist with over 4 years of work experience. My marketing background is from both Information Technology and Legal industries. My practice areas in Marketing are social media, digital, communication and branding. Digital marketing is however my first love as this is where my strong analytical and problem solving skills are mostly utilised. I’m not your typical marketing coordinator as I’ve just recently become big on Photoshop, doing self-teaching at the moment but have plans on completing an accredited Photoshop course to remain relevant in the market. I hold a Marketing National Diploma from the Nelson Mandela University as well as an Applied Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of Witwatersrand. I trust that my application will be considered as I believe my experience has equipped me with knowledge to contribute to your company.

Excellent leaning curve

I will gladly appreciate it if we may further discuss my skills and ability to add value within your company. I work in the facilities department doing all deliveries around Gauteng. This includes going to courts, companies and Chambers. I am a fast learner and have grown over the years in the Market, from retail to corporate industry. I have the ability to proactively come up with solutions to add value to the productivity of the company.

Learning curve

My typical day consists of formatting documents, sending invoices and following up on payment. I am sometimes given the opportunity draft short letters or emails using my own initiative. I get on well with all my colleagues and have a close relationship with some of them. I have some knowledge of what Investment Funds are about but not enough to be able to work on my own. Most days I have nothing to do but administration work. I am not able to use my skills to its fullest. There are no challenges in this position.

Good Learning Curve

Great opportunity for the start out of your career, you will be taught a lot and you will learn a lot. The best advice one can give is to try and act like a sponge and absorb as much as you possibly can. Do the best that you can and just be willing to work hard and learn.

Cons: Long hours and lots of pressure
