I gained good experience over years.

I gained good experience over years, however there were no communication between management and advisors. It allowed me to adapt as call centre's are ever changing and fast paste. Our money was always paid short. Some co-workers are managers pets and get away with alot different things. They talk bad about each other n pretend to like to be friendly. I have gained experience in many aspects just to name a few will be communication skills, typing skills, reporting on progress and tasks, telephone etiquette, problem solving etc. I enjoyed meeting new people. Speaking to different people all the time from all over the world. The most challenging was the new building we moved to wasn't fully functional eg windows doesn't open, the aircons was working and that made us sick. Miss communication and also the money wasnt always correct. Gave warning without have coaching sessions etc.

Cons: Long working hours, miss communication, miss management, money not paid correct, favoritism

Working with different customers from different countries

TA normal day at work is always good s we do have hard busy days, whete you only get the chance to chit chat during your break time, overall its a good compaeven when you have a a bad day you always have someone to motivate you to remember thevreason you took the jobypical day

Pros: Learning new things every day
Cons: Working for non South African company time difference

Call center enviroment

it is a huge company where you meet diffrent people. working in a team of about 5 to 10 people. being able to manage hopw to work with all diffrent kind and cultures, religions. understanding where people come from. we get incentives for best customer services our incentives are like a bonus which is paid out with your salary. we work shifts, because we working for a UK campaign which quite fun and gaining expirence

Cons: 9 hours a day

Communication

It was a great company to work for. I've learnt a lot from them. It helped me communicate better even under pressure of an angry customer. It made me stronger in terms of dealing with difficult people.

Excellent Company

I started working at Webhelp in 2016 under the UK campaign called ShopDirect where i am an inbound sales adviser.My duty is to place orders for customers over the phone,Take payments from customers and resolve customer queries.i must say it has been a great journey and an excellent experience working with different customers that are based in the UK.

Cons: No growth in our department and long working hours

It was interesting dealing with international customers

I give out what I expect. The best. I am so particular about what kind of service I want so I bring that to you as well, I have met people in my team who strive for that too and it makes it fun cause we compete on our stats making it so worthwhile. In a day we compare who is better rated or who will be getting an incentive Based on adheadherence and that pushes the hours. The challenges however is the hours and working on an international calendar and time zones which of cause becomes a challenge for family and life outside work.

Pros: great when you want to be innate retail industry
Cons: long hours and inconsistency on shifts that change daily so one never knows when they will be In at work or off

Allowed me to grow and achieve short term goals

Excellent company allowed me to grow and achieve short term goals that would allow me to better myself in all professional aspects . It taught me how to adapt in difficult situations and problem solve when faced with a challenge
