I am a employee benefits specialist by trade with more than 20 years industry experience. I have worked with financial advisers, and have been one myself as well. i am technically very strong and have a very good overall understanding understanding of the industry- having represented product owners, marketing, management and being an adviser. Currently I use my experience to work with IFAs and facilitate their exist from the industry.

Excelent learning enviroment

Managing and building the new established departments. Strong relationship with heads and admin staff. Learnt allot about the financial setup process and its business context. Enjoy to create something that was never thought of. The most challenging aspect of this position was time spend away from the family.

Pros: Great oppertunity for staff wanting to learn more about the financial world
Cons: Long working hours, far away from home sted.

Valuable lessons learnt

My experience at Warwick has taught me to be even more resilient and it has taken me completely out of comfort zone. Due to the nature of the company it has compelled me to "back to basics" relation to work responsibilities. It is a highly stressful environment with things constantly changing forcing me to be at the top of "my game" all the time. Sadly employees are insecure and not eager to share knowledge. I have a good working relationship with my colleagues. Sadly, here are no growth opportunities. I enjoy accounting and the industry but I need more mental stimulation

Pros: it has taught me to "throw the box away"
Cons: Long working working hours, no balance with no growth opportunity
