I'm willing to learn and grow in the company like to get to introduce different careers

I'm young energetic person still interested to gain more experience in the industry. Passion in field service and that's what I've been doing the last two years working on 20E & 21E electrical locomotives (commissioning and servicing and troubleshooting) I've gained lot of knowledge from my senior artisans. Like to share ideas with colleagues learn from those who have knowledge more than me to become a better employee in future. I've completed most training skill modules at tshwane South College in Pretoria.

Professional profile

Objective With all the training I received. I’m able to refer customer request to the relevant admin department, if I can’t be able to assist them. Update customer’s details. Referring of accounts to trace when no contact can be made to our customer after I have used all the tracing tools. I have telephonic collection on delinquent accounts. Am able to focus on customer retention. I provide efficient and quality service to the customer. Comply with product specific policies and procedures. Am able to work with different personalities as a human resource, am able to identify and satisfy the needs of employees. And confidentiality is the most important element.

a Typical work day, will include the provision of daily tasks for all technical buyers Updating a Manual MRP projection and comparing to the current system Demand updating current localization Efforts and overall % attending to all current supplier queries in relation to Drawing specification and deviation Requests I have gained immense knowledge on the implementation and maintenance of well organized supply chain system I enjoy the experience gained on a daily basis, as we are always exposed to new procedures in order to provide efficiency

Accounting

Managers help out when help is needed. I have learned most of my accounting here for the past 3-4 years. Creditors, bank, debtors, inventory, recons. Creating parts and dealing with inventory.

Exciting and challenging years

Working at Wabtec SA is very exciting as there are engineering challenges every day. A typical day including the assembly testing and commissioning if electronic braking systems for Electrical locomotives. We have a very young and dynamic team with a very good work ethic. I have learnt how to lead a good team and the challenges has been the localisation of global technologies and modification. Project management has been the greatest challenge with a lot of procurement mistakes.

Pros: Great opportunity for cross learning
