Wonderful company to learn the best Customer care process

I am computer literate with the ability to read, understand and analyse information very quickly. I am also dedicated to whatever task is given to me irrespective of its nature. I adapt quickly to change and a very productive worker. I work well within a team and by myself and I have a friendly disposition. I have a positive attitude that allows me to get things done and achieve more than what I have achieved and good working ethics. I have a broad understanding of computers. I was employed as a Back office Administrator /Senior Consultant at Vodacom PTY LTD and was working on contract via TalentCRU. Previously I have worked about 10 years at various companies. The duties that I perform are Liaising with customers, dealing with escalations, doing in-depth investigations into customer accounts, dealing with follow ups, and all Data Capturing duties. My reason for applying is that I know I Can contribute to the company as I have had the exposure when working as a contractor.

A great company to work for

A fantastic place to work and learn. An exciting industry. However, it is getting tougher as telcos globally reach saturation, and telco services become commodities. I spend a lot of time in meetings, and reviewing data and scenarios to look at how we can optimise services or reduce costs. I spend some time, probably 20% of my day, executing operational tasks, which generally relates to making decisions and signing off on purchases and payments. I have an excellent relationship with the people that I work with. We talk and we laugh a lot, and we support each other. I can't quantify what I have learnt from working at Vodacom for 14 years. It ranges from a deeper understanding of technologies in the telco space, to more effective management and communication. The thing I enjoy the most is the interaction with a wide range of people. The most challenging part of this job today is probably a growing demand for us to do more with less.

Cons: Demanding in terms of time, often encroaching on personal time, disturbing work-life balance.

Through teamwork and constant review of company processes yield positive results

sales and market share review and planning on what corrective actions and formulation of new strategies and plans to correct revenue,market share and customer acquisitions decline.A lot of collaboration with other departments like the ntwork teams in terms of making sure we have full network coverage and if not the network teams get involved.Together a team can achieve more than individuals coukd.Seeing customers happy with the service or the product they have bought or by being oart of the number one network company in South Africa.When first joined Vodacom could not understand how the company have srvived so many years and continue doibg things that were done when the company was launched in South Africa.
