Excellent stepping stone

Vlocity Communications gave me a head start in life. They gave me a work opportunity while I did not have any professional experience. Starting with the company was a great learning curve for me. I have a fantastic relationship with my co-workers seeing that I am a people's person, but I also faced difficult times with some of the people I work with. My everyday job is to assist our client's with their voip accounts and airtime. I do come across very difficult client's at times, but our job here is to always find away to keep our client's happy. The most challenging aspect of my job was that I had to teach myself, being a receptionist and being in the accounts department. I love the current position I'm in and I love what I do, but there is nothing beyond what I'm doing at the moment.

Proper training

Dealing with client over the phone who have issues with internet or problems with their set up. Help technicians that are on site with setting up internet for clients or troubleshooting.

Pros: Not much opportunities

It's been amazing working here

It's been amazing working for this company. I've learned a lot in my 8 months working her .worked with servers and network towers etc. I love IT as it's broad and thats3what i want to doe.

It's a good starting point in one's career

We're a wireless network company. We have clients in KZN, Gauteng, North West, etc. We provide them with wireless internet, telephone (VoIP) and we also have towers where our clients connect from. My typical work day will be going to any client that is down and fixing the problem. We work in a team and my relationship with my co workers is very good. We treat each other with respect. I have learnt a lot about networking and troubleshooting, and about the Apps we use such as Ubiquity. I really enjoy traveling to clients because you get to see different places. Most challenging aspects is sometimes waiting for support to configure when we're at client site, you really must be a patient person and climbing height was a bit challenging.

Excellent learning curve

I had a great time with my team in the accounts department, the relationship was good and the communication between us was also effective. I had the following duties: Creating invoices for suppliers and customers on Moneyworks App,updating the supplies batches on excel every month or every time I receive invoices and perform reconciliations,filling customer information forms for each and every customer, receive slips of the expenses incurred and update the credit card batch ,receive the weekly bank statement and update the bank account
