Fleet Manager

a Typical day start with meetings o the various departments regarding the fleet movements and tonnage that was moved in the 24 hours. After the meeting I will go and visit the different sites where we collect waste and transport to the landfill. Talk to the depot managers and find out what their requirements is regarding transport and vehicle utilization. What I have learnt is that it is a challenging environment to work in and it changes constantly so you have to adapt to the conditions. I enjoyed the camaraderie between the workers and the management staff a lot.

Good working environment and resources for operation

I have been working at Visionscape for almost two years. Our leadership is approachable and always willing to hear new idea (and float them upwards when they are good ones!) In Visionscape, staff have great opportunity for learning how to operate at a very high caliber, use data to prove a point and take on challenging work. Visionscape have good leadership and good pay. Challenges are those sabotage our operations as a result of political issue

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion and meeting with high caliber of people in the environment
Cons: Environment is highly political which obstruct the contract
