Iam a very outspoken person
my day to day job, answering calls, resolving members queries, making calls, ensuring members service was exceptional coming out coming in. my relationship with my co workers is amazing we work well together and I have learned a lot from them an I enjoy around the team that bring success, the challenge that I normally come across is difficult members but otherwise I can handle them professionally

I work very well with my co workers and the relationship is amazing as we striving for the same goal,the most challenging thing about my job is difficult members but I can manage to resolve the issues in a professional manner

Step out of comfort zone
Each day beginnings with a plan on how you will be making sales and reaching your target for the day. All this is done in a dairy in which we record every activity we have achieved or done for the day. Working with my colleagues has been a great joy as they are very competitive and that is a good environment to stretch yourself as no one wants to be left behind in regards to sales. Having a marketing plan in place day to have a successful sales day. Setting goals that are achievable and are realistic. Sorting out queries and other administrative skills. What I enjoyed most was the challenge that desire to want more for yourself and strive to be better each month regardless of the situation at that month. Monthly goal setting was one of the things I enjoyed as this makes why you set a goal for the month becomes realistic. Rather than finding it challenging to find new clients things like slow systems don't make it easy to help a client as you meet different people some are very impatient.

I have worked for Virgin Active for 15 years, I have grown from a operations manager to a regional specialist. Virgin Active incorporates FUN in its work day, although your day is often busy the VASA ethos makes it worth the effort. I have learned the value of good friendships, honesty and never changing your values and morals to suit others. Working with various people in different professions can be challenging but with the right tools and support from role players achieving goals not only becomes possible but also permanent.
Pros: office-less environment, self management, accountability, work satisfaction.
Cons: travel, odd work hours, remuneration.

Excellent learning curve.
Working for virgin active has been an excellent learning curve. Recetion/ administration duties. Controlling member access to facility. Filing, admin paper work. Assisting clients with queries.

Learning experience
The option didn’t allow for me to choose Unemployed at the moment! So I will give a review on what it was like when I did work there! The day would start out by setting out the order of play and goals for the day ! We would then do a flyer drop outside the facility as well as our own lead generation. We would also go into “Call drives” where this would be cold calling for the day & this would 3 times a day ! We would also see all clients that we have booked for the day! I enjoyed the cold calling the most as being on the phone was one of my favorites & strengths! I got along with my fellow consultants and learnt a lot from them. The most challenging part of the job was the hours , as they were a lot! I learnt better communication skills and sales marketing skills!

I've learned in dealing with different needs oo and learned to make sure each individual needs.
My job w as very challenging, cause you have to certisfy diversity of each individual, making sure they are happy and their goal capacity is met. I love my job cause it depends intirely to my ideas, cause as an instructor you are a leader, therefore everyone that comes to my classroom follows what I say and they live my classroom happy wanting to comeback for mor I. I love my cow-Workers cause when ever we meet we brain storm ideas to keep our classes exciting and we support each other as team, we cover for each other when one can not make it for the class to keep our clients happy at all times. The most challenging aspect of my job is the fact that we work with stats, the less attendency your class get then it gets removed from the timetable and you'll sit jobless and, working different times can be difficult for one to spent with your family. Cause you have no holidays
Pros: These very limited promotion in this type of work, cause mostly its freelance work
Cons: I work as please, cause I freelance, i have classes mostly in the afternoon, so don't have to wake up early.

It's been a good learning experience and I've grown a lot
Virgin active has been a good place to start and build myself as a working individual. The people I've worked with have been great but like most work places there are ups and downs. However, I still look forward to my days at the club to interact with other people which I struggled with growing up and now I just love. A typical day for me starts with setting up the club for opening and then getting ready for my group exercise classes and thereafter making sure members are having a good experience everyday. I've learnt the art of selling products to people, customer retention, how to deal with conflict as effectively as possible, how to interact with people while staying my true self... I enjoy doing classes and also selling products and myself as a fitness trainer. The most challenging thing would be trying to make members happy everyday.
