I like to explore and learn new things .

Every morning I liaise with the section to find out if there is any urgent or critical issues that raised from the night shift . Inspect machinery and conduct planned inspections in my area of responsibility at intervals prescribed by Regulation or determined by the chief Safety Officer. I am open to my co-workers and If there is anything that I do not understand I engage my them to help , the team I am working with is very great and help full. I have learned to explore and get out of my comfort zone by doing new things when ever I have the opportunity . I enjoy working together with people by coaching and empowering them by giving them necessary information . The most challenging aspect of my job is supervisors who let employees to comprise safety in the name of production.

Pros: I want to be a manager in the near future that is why I study to acquire as much knowledge as I can.
Cons: I can work long hours.

Excellent

To whom it may concern. I am an ambitious young man. I have matric and busy studying Information Technology and Management as correspondence. Job security is uncertain however it has quite a nice challenging level of work

Not a good place to work. One is expected to do work yet the payment is a struggle. Iwe hold safety meeting every morning. Then head out to break downs and repairs and also maintenance

Pros: None
Cons: Not being paid overtime but expected to work till the job is finished. Not standby allowance yet you are required to do standby

Learning experience good

My current working conditions are conducive as the company is still new, bought the company from another company this year-2018. Previous company culture still being entrenched in the current set up. New management still a challenge as we had to understand their way of doing things Work for the previous company for more than 14 years in different positions inclusive of management

Great engineering exposure

Working for Village Main reef i have expanded my knowledge of engineering and gained a better understanding of what it means to be a leader for a mass industry. I have had the privilege to work with a few people who share similar work ethics. On the other hand the company does not look after its staff members with incentives, corporal events to motivate its workers as well acknowledgements for hard work.

Excellent learning curve

iA normal day starts with cheching my section for leaking pipes,camel backs and chutes and if nothing is wrong then we go to theworkshop todo maintanace on big mama loco and its 10ton hoppersI.'ve got a good relationship with my fellow workes because of the good communication amongst usHence my jib is the most rewarding thing for me.Great chalenge we arr facing is poor communication and planning from our supervisors
