When i put my mind to something I do not give up

My day starts with a staff meeting and getting everyone on the same page of what needs to happen for the day and week ahead. Greet all guest as they come down for breakfast. Do my reports and inspections on rooms. Checking dates and times are adhere to in the kitchen and that health & safety procedures are followed at all times. I love what I do and have various systems in place. Keep a eye out for market relating changes in the other Hotels price range.

Pros: Part of the Mantis group get to visit some of the sister Hotels
Cons: No pension fund, medical aid. No promotion unless I become an owner

Great learning experience

The hospitality industry is a bit challenging but it also helps you find yourself and it tests your ability to be patient because not a lot of people you meet / work with will be nice to you nor care about who you are but you will always have to pull yourself together, smile and treat every situation with a calmn mind and a smile on your face no matter how angry you are.. The one thing I enjoyed the most about your, is meeting people of different cultures because it helps you learn and see wider than what think you know.. I am a team player, I lover getting to know my co-workers in a more personal way because your work is your home away from home so you must make that environment as peaceful as possible

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: Long hours
