My duties, Gas delivery and operating pressure regulating plant, taking Meter readings, machine cleaning such as Natural Gas Compressors and generators

Pros: No opportunity at all, they rather hire people from outside to do more responsible job
Cons: Yes 10 hour shift and it a three shift system, including a night shift

Slightly challenging but not enough. Learning very little overall

The job isn't demanding, there is barely anything related to my field of expertise to do. The hours are long but the work is poor, the management is slow and frankly unfair to the lower level employees. I learned to work with a team though, as the lower level employees treat each other well and try to find whatever little relevent work they can do around sites. Most of the relevant engineering work is given to senior technicians and management is the one that usually receives proper training while we get no professional training.

Pros: Get to travel to different locations
Cons: Long hours
