Slow growth

- the job is very interesting more especially during troubleshooting - I have good working relationship with my colleagues. - I learned the hydraulic system, operation of PLC, AC-DC-AC system and how the wind industry operates. - I enjoy troubleshooting more anything, I feel alive and I know I’m gonna learn something new. - troubleshooting a system without a clear circuit diagram

Great experience

It's a wonderful company to work for since I started working here I have improved tremendously, I get along with my co workers team spirit is very high with great professionalism. My daily task is to service the wind turbines and also attend breakdowns.

Career development

It is very good to work for vestas, since its a renewable energy company we meet different challenges everyday, we do troubleshooting and mainly preventative maintanance, since i started working for vestas i have learned that through team work a lot can be achieve especially when following work instruction. There is very good understanding between me and my core-workers which improve good communication skill. I have learnt a lot of mechanical system such as hydraulic systems since i am an electrical person, this type of a job requires one to work his hands all the time and most challenging aspect about a job is that you must be a problem solver because it requires concentration, always adhere to safety

Pros: Career growth and new challenges
Cons: Normal working ours, weekend standby and overtime

Work ethic

At the current moment I would give the company a score of 3 out of 10 when it comes to work ethics. You are expected to complete a task with the tools that you have, so if you missing a tool for the job then you must make a plan. Most of the times these plans are to work unsafe. Your safety views and suggestions are not welcome

Great analytical skill

I am an individual that really looks at all aspects when approaching mt job, I believe that every idea counts and that learning goes both ways. I always strive to give my best and willing to learn each and everyday.

Pros: Very diversed company which makes the challenge more exiting to learn about the different cultures within our organisation
Cons: Company has not established if we will be based in Gauteng permanently
