Excellent learning curve
I was once a debt collector in one of the top collection call centers, I become one of the top collectors and then I got promoted to become a team leader due to my level of work experience and giving out the best services to all our clients. One of the biggest challenges I ever faced was to reach a target of calling 80 people within 5hours, yet I will manage to get at least 70 and have 20 arrangements per day. I have learned to be patient, not to take things personal and also how to work as a team. I enjoyed reaching my target all the time because that made my life simple never signed any warning for performance. The relationship with the coworkers was one of the most best time of my life some we still communicate even though that they have left the company because we were more of a family rather than colleagues we worked together in order to deliver what was required of us to do at all time.

Great opportunity to work at my company. I've learnt so much as still learning more. Although there are critics in te workplace, I take them well and do my job accordingly. I am the greatest team player. My team leader looks up to me and has great values about me.

Its a good company, to start working for, but as experienced collector, i ts a no no
It's a friendly call centre environment, we are a group of 100 divided into 3, we work shifts from 8.30 to 14:00, and 14:00 to 19:30, we work well with each other, challenging part is working low balance accounts, which makes it hard to reach targets

Excellent experience exposure to debt collection
It had been much of a roller coaster, with good times and bad times. I think what stands out for me and what I learnt was the impact of management on employees. I experienced first hand what it was like to have both a good and a bad manager. For the most part bad, but having changed 6 months ago, my performance has improved due to a different style of management.
Pros: Great learning opportunity as there is a learnership
Cons: Too many agents to manage. A total of 28 in 5 hours

Good learning experience
Working for has been great meeting different people with different experiences. Working for vertex has been an experience working on campaigns i never worked before. Most challenging thing would be when we work on books that have rate of un contactability.

Experience opportunity
I have learnt to be a hard worker amd also to stay patient. I have learnt good peoples skills and computer better. Vertex has a sage working environment and encouraging working staff. It isuser friendly and full of youmg stars.
