An important first step in my career

A typical work day begins just before the store opens,where I setup my stand and display. Professional relationships with my colleagues. Having to deal with customers on a daily basis has allowed me the opportunity to get practical experience in consumer orientation. The most fulfilling aspect of my job would be the customer relationships that I built and learning about new products and their benefits. If I were to pinpoint one challenging aspect in my job it would have to be the lack of autonomy in implementing my own strategies to improve sales and improve consumer relations

Pros: disciplined enviroment, customer orientated policy
Cons: Long working hours, not motivational

work days are stressful/sometimes customers can be quite rude. Co workers are friendly but staff are generally worried about money as they are remunerated very poorly I enjoy people in general, love the regular customers, etc Staff morale is low among Store Managers and flexi staff, and what I dislike most about the job is the chasing the constant set budget figures as per direct store, meaning that I am misplaced in this job

Pros: get to know and understand people/their likes, dislikes, etc
Cons: very long working hours including weekends and limited promotional possibilities

Exciting,challenging industry with a lot of growth

Exciting but challenging industry requiring a lot of patience and good customer service.You have to know how to work well under pressure and with a team because you need other to make the company grow.Days will not be the same but you always need to word hard and be driven.

Pros: I started at Verimark as a sales rep and within 6 months was promoted to store manager because they saw the potential
Cons: I really dont have a problem with the hours because i believe in order to achieve good results you always have to work hard

Great way to gain experience

Verimark is a great company to work for and an excellent company to support. I love working for Verimark as the atmosphere is simply amazing. The only downside is that it's very hard to be promoted to get that opportunity to make more money.

Stagnant

It was good to be there at the beginning and learned a lot but I feel that it's time to move on for even though there is growth, it takes a long time to be recognized and at my age I need to explore more and I also need to grow myself as well academically

Good exposure

I was hard working, learned alot about product knowledge and also about various customer's. I packed and ordered stock. Cross merchandise stock. Did return and wrote damages of product. Worked long hours 7 days a week even on holidays.

Pros: Learned a great deal of communication
Cons: Long working hours and little salary

Excellent learning curve

My day to day is extreamly businy as i am a administrator and training co ordinator. i have to recruite excellent candidate to join our team on a day to day basis. i am a very friendly person and love meeting with new personalities . i have learnt that i am a strong person and can work under alot of pressure. most challenging working here is that it is a very very stressful environment and everything needs to be on point to detail,lots of deadlines.

Excellent learning curve

My staff i value with every sentiment because we are face of the company and we need to ensure sales and targets are met. We grow our clientele by making customers feel welcome in our store on a daily bases. I personally have a huge drive for sales and love seeing customers leaving with a smile.. i like pleasing customers as they always come back to the store when im around.working at verimark you need to be highly sales driven be computer literate ensure targets are met manage finance and everything els pertaining admin . As being a store manager ive mastered each thing and i have it on black n white audits.
