Typical work day its when I have to attend meetings My relationship with my co-workers is very good we work as a team. I have learned a lot in the mine industry about scheduling night shifts and over time I enjoy taking minutes during management meetings. My challenges are when the finance department is not paying service provides in time and I have to make arrangements.

Its a good opportunity for me gain such an experience in my current cimpany

Stakeholder engagement • Engaging with Local municipalities, Traditional Authorities, Dept of Education, Dept of social development, Mining Forums and etc. • Participating in meetings of the Forums like Employment Equity committee, mining forums Community outreach • School programmes and distributing of food parcels in community during National Lockdown of Covid 19. CSI Projects • Screening of applicants. • Approving and declining the applications. • Drafting and sending of the letters to the applicants if they were approved or not. • Project funding and implementation.

Good communicator, Good Client service

In my current work I have learned a lot about HR in the private sector. 1. My responsibilities are Selection and Recruitment: Capturing of incoming application for advertised post, sort the applications for long list, compile short list according to requirements of the post, Invite panel and candidates for interview. 2. Skills and development: Booked training for employees and accommodation, capturing and update database of development for employees. 3. Sage: Capturing for payment of suppliers in the system 4. HR Administration: Write minutes during meetings, Write feedback letters of outcome in the interview to candidates.

Great learning experience

It's an environment that requires one to put more hours at work. There's lot of pressure and requires lots of determination. This industry is more demanding and one is expected to hit the ground running.Things has to be done right first time everytime without fail

Excellent learning curve

Involvement in multiple disciplines due to the size of the company. Company gives opportunity to study further and unlimited leave days are given. You get to work closely with the GM and senior management people due to the size of the company. Exposure to engineering functions is given and also to logistics functions.

Good practical leaning area

Generally exposed most of my experience to little salary

Its very streniouse working 12hour shifts for little remuneration and during that 12hours i will be 1artisan waiting for breakdown without any assistant or helper.The only thing i have learnt is to prove to management that most of the jobs i could do them on my own and the time where i modifyed,fabricated and installed the slon project.Generally i enjoy working with different people of different cultures and values.

Learning curve

I am currently doing salaries, debtors: incoicing, allocations and follow up on payments due, creditors: I prepare invoices and checking payments, prepare monthly journals and bank reconcilliations.
