I was trained and registered a debt collecter, had further training after being promoted as a legal debt collecter. I ultimately got promoted to be a scheduled electronic payments clerk, got trained for it and got better at it with experience.

Good experience
I am working as a debt collection agent at Vertex solutions. I collect,advice and make sure debtors do their best to repay their debts by educating them. I work under pressure and make sure my job is done from the fullest of my ability.

Data capture. Administration inbound and outbound
hereby would like to apply for the Call Centre Position Advertised. I strong believe that I should be considered for the position because I do have more than a year of experience working as a call centre agent in the Debt Collection Environment. The Experience that I have gained as a Debt Collector made me realize my potential as a call centre agent because it is overall a challenging environment which can really test your communication and telephone skills. I now know how to handle every sort of customer in different ways. Personally I am a Patient Person, I am a goods listener, I have a positive attitude in everything that I do which has a good outcome in my work ethic. I am available immediately

Hard working , very dedicated and target driven
firstly I prefer on planning in advance for a day, and you have to love what you are doing then everything will go smoothly. even if challenges comes to your way then you will be easily to overcome them. Im a very loving , caring person and Im a team working person. in life I have learnt a lot form my mistakes. and a mistake repeated twice is not a mistake is a habit. I enjoy working with people , meeting new challenges every day. the most challenging aspects of the job is when you are working with difficult people or dealing with difficult clients or working on something that you don't like or understand.

Great learning curve
My experience at vertex has been great and I have learnt a lot since I started working at Vertex Solutions. From the financial tearms used to the way that the debt collection industry works. My typical day at work would start of by me arriving at work, switching my computer on depending on the shift I'd be working that week. Then I would log into the system, handle my call backs from the previous day and then I would move to the accounts for the day and start dailing. Sometimes my dailing would be interrupted by meetings with the team leaders, where they would breef us. aIfter all the dailing I would then knock off. That would be my day at work.
Pros: Great opportunity to learn about the financial world.

Looking for new opportunities, growth and skills
A well being company of morethan 300 hard working consultants, about 10 team leaders and supervisors who are straining in hopes of building a successful quality work for clients Serious working hours of hardwork is worth the determination of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly target even under lot of preassure and making a typical day look ordinary, with team work, curiosity and the willingness to learn, and grow There is so much challange when you find difficult and stulling debtors and having to meet your target but you seen not to be getting debtors and with no time at all, then you just have to refer and start giving the importance and reasons of why debit orders are more secure and tracing to get to your debtors when they are not found or changed numbers and also making sure you leave your DRM after every call as a reference

We work on our Ver-tex system to collect debts from the debtor
I have a Call Centre experience and Certificate for debt collection training. I'm doing Data Capture, Log queries and also working to reach daily targets. To be honest it's not easy to work at our company as you always have to be pressurised by team leaders everyday telling you about the daily targets and of which they know how difficult debt collection is. You will always sign warnings for not reaching your monthly targets till they take you for hearing. The worse thing is that they always blame the agent for the debtor's disputes/debit order reversals, and that is why it's very difficult to reach our monthly targets. The relationship with my co-workers is fine. I have learned that I must work hard so that I don't loose my job. There is nothing that I enjoy, is just that I need money for a living.

Cons: Yes. We work 8 hours. For those who works for 5 hours they earn 3 600
