Culture very different from south Africans. Work ethics lacking. Professionalism is not existing. Customers not treated well. Service levels very poor.

Pros: Its a company standing good potential in Africa.
Cons: Lack business ethics and systems.

Not a lot of benefits but good people

The working hours of the company is really good and it is not far from home which is perfect. My colleagues are all very friendly and good to get along with in a personal and proffessional way. There isn't a lot of opportunity for growth in the company, positions will have to be created for any possibility of a promotion. Unfortunately no benefits of medical aid or pension is offered which is quite essential to any employee. In some ways there are cases of favouritism which is always hard to deal with but at least you feel accomplished getting through a day's work.

Excellent learning curve

Plan production Control stock Logistics Basically to plan loads for customers from the invoices we recieve from the sales department then help the customers collect their material or deliver it to them. Record dispatches and Productions. Record them in the excel sheet and send the stock list to the sales department for other customers that are willing to purchase stock

An opportunity tomlearn

I love my co workers,we are very hard working team.we work 12 hours a day,that is night shift only,seven days a week ,so our work is very demanding.it's steel and metals company.I have learned to work hard and only focus on the positives at work.I have to say I love the team we work with,a bunch of good guys,hard workers, and always willing to learn and help.truth be told there is no opportunities to grow as we do same things time and again ,so that can be discouraging.

Cons: long working hours
