My role as a data capture is to make sure that the invoices submitted by the companies are vat compliant and that they meet the minimum in order for them to be processed through after all the checks I capture the invoices into the system and send them to the claims assessor. For invoices that are not vat compliant I send a reissue request if they meet the reissue minimum if not I ineligible them. My relationship with the workers is great as we are part of a team and we help each other on any difficulty we encounter. I have learnt how to research information, calculate and understand how vat works, study different policies pertaining to vat compliance, issue a detailed report and meet my daily target. I enjoy reaching my deadline target and getting feedback from our quality checkers. The most challenging aspect is when I get invoices from Germany or other countries that don't use English as their primary language and I have to decipher what is written on the invoices.

It's a great company
The company is great and I enjoy working there. The dress code is not limited however you also need to consider that you dressed in a non provocative manner. The business model is well thought of and I just enjoy being part of such a prestigious company. VATIT always strives to achieve more.
Pros: The company is constantly growing and developing new strategies that they communicate to each employee on a regular basis. Training is an essential part of VAT IT due to the nature of business. Since vat legislation chances on a regular basis vat it has an online varsity course for all its employees to update and grow the knowledge of their employees.
Cons: The pay is not too satisfying when you compare to the working hours worked. The company does not have benefits so if you lose your job you will be in the same position as a person who has never been employed before. The overtime is unfair as the pay is low and the targets are hard to reach. The company cares more about satisfying their clients than making their employees happy too. You only get promoted if you suck up to your boss and if they like you on a personal level. You might work hard and get a promotion for it but the promotion only comes as easy if you rub shoulders with managers.

Great corporate starter
The company is a great 0lace to start working in the corporate world. It's is fast paced but it is also a 0lace full of learning. You can grow in the company when you work hard enough but it is a bit heartbreaking to work so hard and grow but your salary does not grow as well. Non deadline times are great but deadline times are seriously longer hours and weekends which can drain a person. VAT IT is an amazing company with its strengths and weaknesses it i am so blessed and grateful that they have me a chance to learn and grow.

Great learning opportunity
what i enjoy about my current job -Learning different languages or words, e.g invoice in German is fattura -Theres always a new skill to learn -The management very nice things i don't enjoy about my current job - the salary

Great Corporate Experience
The working hours are exceptionally long and the environment is a high-pressure one. If you are unable to cope with an extremely stressful environment this is not the place for you. However most colleagues are a pleasure to work with and people are willing to help wherever they can to ensure you are equipped with as much knowledge as possible in order to do your job to the best of your ability.

Excellent environment
My workplace is amazing and the only thing is that there is not enough growth. The team members as well as management have created a very diverse and support support system and environment for all employees.

Good experience for corporate
Long hours and you work weekends. Get paid overtime. It is a Good corporate job and they Hire graduates. Good experience to gain especially for people with no experience.No formal dress code. Gain good people skills.
