Make me beleive i can work independently and within a group

i have learnt to be more patient. i enjoy working independently and without very little supervision.my relationship with my co- workers is very wonderful as we have a support system.

Pros: opportunities are very little in terms of growth both financially and becoming a national manager.

Cash-ups, banking, cards and cheques. Debtors Clerk to bursary, private, deposit accounts

Daily Cash-ups, banking, cards and cheques. Manage till and safe floats. Prepare G4s drop bags for daily collection. Daily opening and administration of private accounts, bursary accounts and deposito accounts. Handle telephonic enquiries on a daily basis. I find all people unique and make it my goal to understand and work closely together with my collegues. I enjoy interacting with the students.

Pros: Opportunity for promotion currently not good
Cons: No increase for 2019. First semester we work every weekend for 14 weeks. Company currently busy looking at retrenchements

Great team work

I love interacting with the students and lecturers of the various institutions. The store has a vibey feel that the students love. The team work is awsome. We generally assist each other as and when the need arises. Working in this environment is not just a great learning experience but also very enriching.

Pros: Great team to work with
Cons: Not much room for growth

Good learning oppurtunity

Typical Day consists of the below: • Product listings • Process creditors on system • Follow up outstanding supplier credits • Ensure all product information is correct on the system • Process credit applications for new suppliers and list suppliers • General administration and assisting with placing stationery orders My co-workers and I get along quite well, and work well as a team. I Enjoy most of what i do at Van schaik.

Making sure that the customer is satisfied with the product that they are looking for is first priority. Co-workers they are like family. Work comes first.

Good learning curve

Good communication among employees, from top manager to all amployees . morning opening the book store, tills, do report for VPos, daily cash reports, including credits sales reports. Do filling all paper work, every months stock taking. The was a time when the Manager left me in the store for 5 days n I did perform very well in that time, Order stationary, book, and electronic stock from different supplier but we do it online. The company is more technological. We even transfer book from the system from one store to another branch, (IBT) Internal Branch Transfer

Im a quick learner and can adapt quickly.

Since ive been at van schaik bookstore ive grown a lot, i started as a fork lift/ reach truck truck driver, then as a receiving clerk, orders clerk, debtors clerk, even supervising interns and casuals on weekends. A typical work day is for me coming in receiving of books and sending out of stock that is not needed in our store, but is needed at other stores. when im done with that, i go work on the floor as a sales assistant or i relief the cashier on the till.

Pros: i always want to better myself. Growing and learning as much as i can.
Cons: Dislike lazy people

Excellent Professional Maturity

I have worked extensively in the call centre and customer service departments for the past 15 years. I have thus gained a vast experience in handling customers both telephonically and on a personal capacity
