Wonderful company to be in, had new methods to learn and still learning some

Working in Valpre has been an excellent learning curve. Had to get myself out of the box and stretch myself. I never thought I would do any microbiology work, but I did. My normal routine was getting to work, checking my e-mails, just to see if they communicated something from the last shift via e-mail, or if they've asked me to do anything. That helped me to plan my day effictevely and had a clear picture of what needs to be done and when. I further moved to doing our daily calibrations to ensure accurate results on our anaysis. Did our hourly check ups on the line, but I used to go in thirty minutes intervals too, just to ensure that our quality is not compromised. Samples were even collected in various places for different testing. I enjoyed so much working in a team and spending some time on someone's role. Just to get a feel on their everyday experience.

Pros: There is great opportunity for growth
Cons: We used to outsource some of our testing because lack of resources

It was a lovely platform to learn and challenge myself, do deliver excellent seevice as possible

I became part of the family, I worked the brand in my heart and it was a perfect size.We worked in groups a lot, got to enhance my people's IQ, which was very fun and interesting, little did I know that it would help me tackle custom complaints.My knowledge about quality was enhanced and sharpend very well. The typical work day was as follows: shift hand over, go through e-mails, that gives me an indication of what needs to be done, when and how.It also made me very organized and effective.Calibrations are being made, samples are taken at different points and tests are being made. Hourly I collect the samples, do the analysis.Bottle testing is being done, files are being checked if they are up to date.Sometimes training is being run by us to outsource quality standards for a better outcome from our team

Cons: I loves my job so much, where I am so entangled in it with every area of my life, everywhere I could go, I would think of the brand

I have grown in the Company from the day I was appointed to today a Maintenance planner

Since the company is a Small company the is not much opportunities, you will have to wait for a person to leave work first in order to get promoted or developed. At times we will work until late and not get paid. The nice part about Valpre we know each other, because it's a small plant and the staff there are very friendly.

Pros: The is always room for improvement
Cons: Working till late
