Sugar industry safety and security and contract management background

I had been exposed to the Sugar Industry for many years and have experienced engineering, production, operations, manufacturing, project management, expansions, contract control and contractor management. I have been exposed to access control, security operations and surveilance, medical surveilance and clearance control, safety files, filing system management, HR management, minute taking, auditing and plant inspections, housekeeping management and control, etc. I enjoyed working with contractors, auditing and control of safety files, inductions and access control as well as daily monitoring and meassuring of standards through inspections and plant walks. Production loss and stock control were the most challenging as well as driving the 0 DIFR rating, to prevent incidents. Effective communication and information down to the employee's were the most rewarding in so far as reaching a "0" DIFR rate last season.

Pros: New challenges expanding my horison
Cons: greater responsibility and long working hours
