I was a admin/ assistant manager My job was to do price , pick up , cash up , receiving and ordering of stock , ordering of change and counting of safe,I was responsible for ensuring their staff give great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store. Typical responsibilities of the jobinclude: recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff. managing budgets. Update price , do pick and cash up, receiving and ordering of stock Printing and filing all cash office files ordering stationery and furniture dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries preparing letters, presentations managing office budgets liaising with staff, suppliers and clients implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems delegating tasks to junior employees organising induction programmes for new employees

Pros: Good n learn a lot as we do jobs for two people
Cons: We use to work 13 hrs per day

Great opportunity for exposure

Starts with opening to balance and close off the previous day, Wereby you need to get the store ready for trading the next day. Working as a team it's a necessity as to keep the day to day running of the store and render good customer service to our loyal customer on an everyday task. I have learned there is a solution to every query or complaints!and by adhering to good customer service you also strengthen the customer base between you and the customer. Most challenging aspects is that everyday is a new day @ work,it's always a different experience on a daily basis.

Pros: No opportunity for growth.
Cons: Long Working hours and risk environment in terms of robberies

Enjoyable experience

Working at public place is good for a person like me because I used to be shy person but now I'm good around people all thanks to the work that allow me to meet new people every day As person who has done financial management it exist me to work a job that involves money and computer because I'm seeing what I study school in reality and it feels good Challenge about this job is make every customer happy I learn that customer is always right no matter what

With co-workers who are friendly you can learn how to treat difficult costumers

A day at work could be tiring but with co-workers who are friendly you you can learn how to treat difficulty costumers the challenging part is to fulfill deadlines

Pros: There were opportunities where by you can be a trainee manager but that might as well take time
Cons: 12 hours a day

Excellent learning curve

I never thought one day I will work at usave but being unemployed left me with no choice because I have children at school to take care of. I am getting R20 per hour and is very little for me as a father of three minor children. theemployee's and management are good and the job is right for me because thats what I did for many years after school and I am good at it.

Pros: good working environment
Cons: little salary
