Greetings I have been working in laboratories for more than 1 year and I am comfortable and familiar with all laboratories procedures and equipment with the willingness to learn more. At my previous position as a laboratory assistant I was responsible for process and quality testing, tinting, colour formulation, data capturing and also housekeeping. With my consistent accuracy and analytical thinking skills, I am an ideal fit for this position and with my high ambition I feel like I will be beneficial. My goal is to grow as an analyst, and if I grow, the company will grow. As technician, I would help to increase productivity and present accurate results to maintain a good reputation with our customers. The experience that I am gaining here is so valuable

The day-to-day routine involves getting to work at 7h30, then sitting in front of the computer till 16h30 doing research, writing reports and liaising with clients and sector stakeholders. The general atmosphere in the office is calm and all the employees generally get along. We all respect each other and we all co-exist in an open-office setup. I have learned many technical skills- presentations, the structure of reports, engaging with stakeholders, conducting workshops, doing product audits, feasibility studies, and developing business-and-marketing plans. Most challenging is working with difficult clients, especially when following a deadline-approach on strict timelines. What I enjoy the most is the travelling opportunities that form part of the job, I get to see places that I would never have seen otherwise. I travel mostly inland, however, I have also had the opportunity to go to Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Angola
