Excellent Learning Curve, management and leadership skills and paying attention to detail

My personality lends me towards enjoying interaction with others, best. Being a practically creative and logical individual I try, to be a problem solver in any and all conflicts that occur and take pleasure in reaching speedy resolutions. I sincerely believe in honesty and being straightforward, both personally and professionally. As leader, with integrity, intellect and vision would seem to be a much lacking quality in South Africa given the current political circumstances we find ourselves in. My Human Resources background also has given me unique insights into the dilemma facing businesses today having been on, "both sides of the fence", in terms of being and staff member and advisor to management on staff affairs.

Pros: Great Opportunity
Cons: Long working hours with much attention to detail

Excellent learning curve and great room for career growth

A typical day involves working with students with different characteristics and attitude towards education. Coworkers are good and most can work well in a team. During the course of work at Wits l have learnt that hard work pays and patients should be virtue everyone should strive to have. The most challenging part of the job is having to help a student who comes to lesson without preparing despite being given manual to read.

Pros: There is room for promotion but after a long time
Cons: Normal working hours

Excellent Learning Curve

a typical day at work starts off with tons of emails which require prioritising. I also have an open door policy which means that student walk-ins are acce[table at any given time. reports are suddenly requested and it is rare to find an opportunity to manage deadlines as some may be sprung up immediately. poor work-life balance as the workload doesn't seem to decrease. What I enjoy most is being able to develop students through effective training. this is in line with my passion for development and coaching and the opportunity to further my studies as an employee benefit. the work culture seems to be slightly toxic with various pockets of gossip and general mistrust towards colleagues.

Pros: great opportunity to further learning
Cons: no performance management; no performance bonus; low staff capacity

Excellent learning and communication curve

Tutoring has been quite a great experience for me as I have learned to be able to communicate better and effectively. I have also learned to be more confident when speaking in front of an audience. I've learnt how to work more as a team effectively. It has enhanced my knowledge more in accounting as I was able to go through the concepts I last did in first year. One of the most important things I have learnt is that it has helped me manage my time effectively, especially because I'd have tests and studying to do and would still have to prepare for the tutorial. When i first started the job , I had taken the job to make extra cash but at the end I realised that it actually helped me as I am more confidence in communication.

Pros: Great for learning how to communicate effectively.
Cons: The marking can be tideuos.
