Unemployef Reviews

Self driven and excellent worker

I used to be at the Mtn call centre and was within a year promoted to Correspondence administration. My job entailed an intricate function of data capturing, dealing with store dealers from their point of sale, sim activation and activating all add-on services a customer customer wants post sales. I've also had to deal directly with clients to resolve issues that most dealers couldn't. This saw me being single handedly assigned the back end of MNP quieries because of my attention to detail and my commitment to resolving queries completely. When I got retrenched I dabled my hands in Events management and training which were also a breeze since I strive to learn new things amd excel at them.

Pros: Innovative, conversant, team working, eager to learn and help
Cons: Want to climb my career treer, sooner. Spreading myself thin trying to be a jack of all traits

Excellent credit conyroller

Working at my previous company was great. Good staff. Good management and excellent benefits. I resigned as I started up a small home based business Selling home industry foods. Unfortunately business is slow and I have decided to get back into the employment industry.

Pros: Work unsupervised.
Cons: If you don't reach target no incentive

Excellent building relations

I worked off-site and dealt with walk in customers on a daily basis. I was also required to handle telephone and email queries. Also had administrational tasks to deal with daily. Handed out management reports quarterly to corporate clients. Had more than one corporate client that i was required to do off-site enquiries at these clients and deal with HR on a regular basis. Went to Head Office on Fridays for meetings and completion of admin and weekly reports. Was great to interact with my colleagues and also spend time building good relations as we were all part of the same team.

Pros: Opporunity for promotion
Cons: Travelled often

Very challenging

The organisation is within the NGO sector which posed a lot of challenges but these made the job much more interesting and quite the learning experience.

Pros: Great opportunities for networking and growing people's skills
Cons: Sometimes unrealistic demands
