Learning Journey

I worked with students everyday, attending to queries, checking and verifying things they bring to me with their cases, fellow staff members really trusted me and I worked well with them, we were a Team with other Departments, we used each other on cases involving the other ones Divison and consult to one another. I Have learnt to be authentic in my work and be professional and I figured out that I am good with people, I have learnt a better way to assist them keeping everyone happy.I enjoyed how one would come to me with a big a problem and, leave the centre I was situated with a way out, it always kept me pushing even through hard times. My greatest challenge was earning respect from students since some of them were my age and many were younger than me but looked older than me, they would sometimes disregard me and not take me seriously but as they kept experiencing my work ethic, they were then compelled to change their perspective and be professional as I am normally

Pros: Great opportunity for being refered by my superiors
Cons: Extreme work load

Improved team work knowledge.

I learned a lot in dealing with different personalities and in working as a team. The most challenging aspect of my job is when documentation is not submitted on time for verification, processing and payment. A typical work day is when I receive a lot for processing just before cash focus day and I wonder how it will be possible but somehow find myself completing just on time. Employee satisfaction bring joy to my job. I love mutual understanding with my co-workers as it improves productivity in quality of our work.

Pros: No opportunities for promotion.
Cons: Normal working hours are worked, overtime is once in a while.

I am long life learner Umfolozi has help me to further my studies.

To work in my company is very nice ,the people are nice to work with.working with new people all the time it keeps you motivated to deliver fresh information.

Pros: Furthering studies gives you opportunity to future promotions.
Cons: Long working hours are not a problem based in agreement.

Good learning curve

You leqrn to work with different kinds of people. Thwy teqch you abouy work 3thics.it also teqches you on how tp work under pressure and you also learn alot offl things except fpr being a teacher yourself. You learn to master the different qttitudes of people.

Pros: Perfect plays when you are a family person. Working hours are good
Cons: It was not permanent

Hardwork teamwork individual work,with that you will go places.

Daily work is very interesting because is theory and practical demonstrations,people is nice to work with sometimes challenging,i have learnt that when you teach you need methods and styles of teaching,enjoy to see people obtaining knowledge through hard work,is to train disrespectful students.

Pros: Because of hardwork and dedication,makes promotion opportunities,higher.
Cons: Long working hours are not a problem based in agreement.

I HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS, COMMUNICATION SKILLS

I'VE BEEN WORKING AT UMFOLOZI COLLEGE AS ADMINISTRATOR BUT MY CONTRACT WILL END BY 30 JUNE 2018..I HAVE MICROSOFT WORD AND EXCEL SPREADSHEET. I CAN BE AVALIABLE AT ANY TIME FOR INTERVIEWS, I AM A POSITIVE PERSON AND PROBLEM SOLVER.I CAN MEET DEADLINES.

Pros: EASIER TO LEARN NEW THINGS
Cons: CAN WORK EVEN SHIFTS

I am long life learner .

Is nice evironment,nice people,Training and demonstrations whole day.nice work place to work at.i enjoy to teach people new things everytime.people are nice towork with.The first two weeks is challanging because people are new in the course are not used to tools and machines

Pros: I am willing to take any opportunity when comes to promotion,because i know it comes with responsibility.
Cons: I am flaxible to work long hours even to work overtime and weekends,

Excellent learning curve

I am young woman with the right qualifucation,experience and skills that meets job requirements.I have interpersonal skills,communication skills,computer literacy,problem solving skills,decision making,telephone manners.I work under pressure,long hours and able to meets deadlines.I understand very well how to conduct myself at work and my dress code.I believe due to all competences,skills and experience I have.I can be a good asset for the institution.

Excellent in capturing

Iam working as financial aid clerk (intern) iam assisting students for applyng at nsfas online,capturing funded,unfunded,sign sop ,unsign sop,appeal student and send them to nsfas organization,sometimes I used to work overtime because of many students bt I enjoy to work with different kind of people

Pros: great opportunity

Deals with queries from customers. ? Schedule appointments ( finance and HR) ? Maintain HR filing system ? Compiling IR Report ? Organising conference and meeting room bookings ? Control inventory relevant to administrative area ? Payroll hours updates ? Uniform inventory checks ? Weekly and monthly report ? PROTEA initiatives ? Events ( Wellness, Awards function) ? ER related information ? Leave applications
