Experience in a wide field from under ground equipment to production plants. Electrical and mechanical leading teams with all disiplinces, rigger, boilermaker, fitter, electrical and instrumentation to achieve daily targets safely. Have a clean safety record zero accident / incidents in my career. Passed my skilles over to the youger generation to empower them to become great artisans. Completed a deploma in planning aswell to keep up with tegnology and love to lead people. An Engineer is only as good as his foreman and the relasionship between them will determan if the targets will be met and production and regulations will be adhear to aswell. Safety comes first and there is no compromise on that. Challenges is what drives me.

Mind intriguing and good learning curve

A typical work day was normal and sometimes intemse because I was under scrutiny all the time . Co- workers were good and everything was expected of them but many of them I can say are my friends now. I enjoyed a free experience and exposure to all thing moving and not moving in th ename of mechanical engineering.

Pros: Got to learn from the best
Cons: Time was short

Planning is a support fuction to maintenance

Plan and schedule all PM's for maintenance departments. Assist the foremans with maintenance. Develop PM/CBM for the sections Upgratede the maintenance system Maximo 7.6 Running reports and plan yearly shut Manage the scaffolding contract and rigger and crane

Pros: Small company / Family atmosphere
Cons: No promotion opportunity. Miss being a foreman

Good working place

It a good learning place, challenging place and having a lot of instrumentation that help us to gain much exposure. Good co-workers. I enjoy working and I enjoy challenge.

I have good computer skill especial syspro and good communication skill.

I am work at Umfolozi Sugar Mill as a Creditors clerk. I am handling a larger volume of suppliers sorting suppliers queries, capturing suppliers invoices and preparing recons, sending remittances and filling finance documents

Pros: I am a good creditors clerk
Cons: I am work 8 hours

Excellent learning curve

Working in a manufacturing company is more challenging because u work with targets,quality and specifications.Your bonus depends on the target.What more intresting is working with deferent people learning their differences.Manufacturing industry involves people of different fields , u learn new things everyday.Working shifts is more challenging going off depends on your mate and three shift is the worse ever u do not get enough time to spend with your family u spend more time at work.what is good about our is it is a great employer and it also develop people.

Career development

Everyday is an experiential learning. I get exposed in various HR related duties. The relation with my colleagues is effective hence we value team work and communication. The challenging part of the job is that since we deal with employees sometimes we have to take hard decision especially in disciplinary hearings.

Working as a casual at Umfolozi Sugar Mill MTUBATUBA is a great opportunity because ever since I,m working I, ve gained a lot of experience, and I enjoy working there because my work is not stable I work in different departments,

Good learning

Verdantly, with this latter I would like to present myself and my passion for working as a Trainee Operators/CNC Operators at your organisation. I am a diligent worker, committed and I take pride in my work. During the time when I was busy with my in-serve training at Umflozi Sugar Mill I was recognised as an excellent student in the entire company.
