Excellent practical experience

We learned a lot in only a limited amount of time. We had to draft documents, summons, letters etc. We got the opportunity to consult with clients. It was a fun but very professional set up.

Pros: Great working conditions
Cons: No salary

Excellent learning curve

I have learnt a lot at the U.j law clinic however still have a long way to go and hopefully will be able to learn a lot more with an employer who will afford me a learning opportunity.

Pros: learning institution provides an all round student.
Cons: No salary, it was part of the completion of the LLB programme
