Excellent learning curve.

Once upon a time, mid week and a very busy day. I was loading the vehicle to leave for deliveries. Suddenly my supervise came charging in my direction not pay attention to him. He started to shout that I think I am clever, how could I be using crane but not licenced to, his going to show me by firing me. And I was shocked and could not believe what I was hearing and I just walk off to my manager and told her about what the supervise said. He summond him to the office and asked me to leave that to her and continue with what I was doing. I have learnt a lot about steel quality and sizes. Enjoyed not working weekends. Having to driver the heavy steel on bumpy road and place being far.

Pros: Been on stand by too long
Cons: Never told why not promoted but they're happy with feeds back.
